Louisiana Swamp Tour

Embark on an unforgettable bayou airboat adventure into the Louisiana swamps outside New Orleans!
The tour begins with comfortable transport by private motorcoach to a scenic 20,000-acre cypress wetland preserve near the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. After enjoying an authentic Cajun crawfish boil and barbecue, climb aboard a flat-bottomed airboat and feel the breeze on your face as you zip through shallow marshes and bayous lined with moss-draped cypress and tupelo gum trees.
Get your camera ready for photo ops of a stunning variety of wildlife, including plenty of alligators sunbathing on rocks, turtles, snakes, and vibrant birds like egrets, herons and ibis. Also watch for hawks, owls, bald eagles, white-tailed deer, raccoons, and nutria. Your guide may even feed an alligator or two right from the boat!
Before heading back to the excitement of the Big Easy, tour the indoor alligator exhibits – including a rare albino alligator.

The spirit of New Orleans comes alive with delicious Creole cuisine, and lively jazz music. Get ready to celebrate, laugh, and indulge, in true Mardi Gras style! 
Mardi Gras formal attire is encouraged. The bolder the better! Bright colors, sparkles, sequins and feathers are Mardi Gras favorites. Many will be in full -length gowns and tuxes. However, wear what is comfortable for you. Whether you feel like getting in on the FULL Mardi Gras fun or just a bit of Mardi Gras flavor, we want you to Laissez bons temps rouler (let the good times roll)!!
SLDF Fundraiser @ The National WWII Museum

The National WWII Museum tells the story of the American experience in the war that changed the world—why it was fought, how it was won, and what it means today—so that all generations will understand the price of freedom and be inspired by what they learn. We’ll depart at 1:00pm, and once we arrive, you’ll be free to roam and visit the areas that interest you until 5:00pm.
Note – your ticket includes the WWII movie at the museum.
At 5:00 we’ll leave the museum and head to Tujagues for a one hour happy hour with cocktails and appetizers (included).
